What is Mineral Watch?
Mineral Watch is a mineral intelligence platform for Oklahoma. It links your properties, wells, documents, OCC filings and well records into one organized system, so you do not have to search the OCC website by hand. Every plan gets daily alerts when something is filed on or near your land, production history for the wells you track, and AI extraction of the documents you upload. From Standard up, Intelligence Reports add production decline, shut-in detection, deduction audits and well risk for your own wells, with an estimate of your revenue from the decimals on record, and pooling orders and bonus options near your land. Professional and above add pooling rates by county and statewide research.
Which plan is right for me?
If you own minerals and want to keep track of your own land, Standard is built for you. If you are a landman, attorney or firm working across many tracts, choose Professional or above: they add chain of title for every property, county records you can search and pull into your file, and market research across the state.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers 1 property and 1 well, with daily alerts and 10 one-time document credits. No credit card is needed to sign up.
What counts as a "property"?
A property is a unique section-township-range location (for example, 28-14N-04W). If you have several wells in one section, it counts as 1 property. We also watch for filings in the sections around it, and for wells tied to your land by surface location, lateral path and bottom hole.
What's the difference between wells and properties?
Properties are monitored by section-township-range. Wells are tracked by their specific 10-digit API number. You can add wells anywhere in Oklahoma, even outside your property sections.
What are document credits?
Credits pay for reading documents into your file. An upload costs 1 credit per document, whatever its length; a PDF that holds several documents costs 1 credit for each document in it, and a page we classify as “Other” and do not read costs nothing. Completion reports, drilling permits and OCC filings cost 1 credit each the first time you open one, and OCC orders can be viewed free. Pulling a county record such as a deed, lease or assignment into your file costs 5 credits, and searching county records is free. Anything already in your file costs nothing to open again. Monthly credits reset on the 1st of each month on paid plans. Bonus credits last for as long as you stay subscribed, and purchased credits carry over.
What are bonus document credits?
Annual plans include a one-time bonus of credits, from 300 on Standard to 2,500 on Business, in addition to your monthly credits. Enterprise credits are set to your volume. Bonus credits last for as long as you stay subscribed.
Can my team share one account?
Yes, on Business and Enterprise. Business includes 3 team member seats, and Enterprise seats are sized to your firm. Your team works from one shared portfolio and one credit pool, and every document is available to every member.
Do you cover states other than Oklahoma?
No. Mineral Watch covers Oklahoma only: every county except Osage, whose oil and gas is overseen by the Bureau of Indian Affairs Osage Agency rather than the OCC.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel instantly from the Account page and keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is my data secure?
We never sell your data, and we never share your property locations or documents with mineral buyers, landmen or anyone who could use them to approach you. Documents you upload are stored securely in the cloud and read by a secure AI service so we can extract their contents.
